What is laparoscopic surgery?
Laparoscopic surgery or minimal access surgery or key hole surgery is a type of surgical procedure which allows the surgeon to perform routine major abdominal surgeries by avoiding the conventional large open incisions. The laparoscopic surgery is better to the open surgery considering the shorter recovery times and the lesser pain associated after the procedure. The smaller incisions heal very well and give almost scarless cosmetic results.
